John has been a soccer coach since 1999. He has experience in soccer coaching and development in England and in many different states across the U.S. John has also received a Positive Coaching Alliance ‘Double Goal Coach’ award.
John has a F.A Coaching Badge, CYSA National License, and NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. He earned his college degree in Sports and Exercise Science, where he played at college level at the University of Gloucestershire in England.
John is also a member of the CYSA Coaching Staff, and has been involved with the ODP and PDP coaching programs.
John has a proven track record of developing high level soccer players and worked with over 40 players that have played at the PDP or ODP District Level. He helped over 15 players go to State level, six players at the Regional Level, and help two players go on to play for the U.S National team. In addition, he has coached over 20 players that have gone onto play College soccer at the Division 1, 2 and 3 Level.
John has also worked with several teams in the Bay Area that have won a number of high level tournaments and events (see ‘team achievements’ page for more information on these teams).
Zack grew up in the South Bay Area and played for Santa Clara Sporting and other local teams. He then went on to play as a goalkeeper for Foothill College, as well as participating in tryouts with the San Jose Earthquakes.
Zack has worked for Premier Soccer Coaching since 2008, as both a Goalkeeper Coach, Field Player Coach, and Team Head Coach.
Zack runs goalkeeper training sessions for players aged between 7 to 18. He has also carried out training for goalkeepers for Santa Clara Sporting, MVLA, Sunnyvale Alliance Soccer Club, Los Gatos Youth Soccer League, West Valley Youth Soccer Club, and Central Valley Soccer League.
Zack also worked as a trainer and head coach for teams in the Sunnyvale Alliance Soccer Club, Los Gatos Youth Soccer League, West Valley Youth Soccer Club and Santa Clara Sporting.
Zack’s coaching goal is to share his knowledge of soccer with as many players as possible, by using a positive coaching style and innovative teaching methods that create a great learning environment for players. He hopes to helps players develop the technical, tactical, physical, and mental areas of their game.
Zack has a NSCAA National License and is a CYSA certified Goalkeeper Coach.
Zack brings a high level of energy and enthusiasm to every session that he runs. This helps him bring out the best in every player that he works with. You will notice an increased work rate and level of enthusiasm from players when they are working with Zack.
Zack has the ability to adapt his coaching sessions to be relevant to each age group, which allows him to be a successful coach with players of all ages and abilities.
Zack pushes his players to play their best though positive coaching. He encourages his players to be creative and to feel comfortable with making mistakes. This enables Zack to create a great learning environment for his players to develop at the highest level possible.
Alex has been coaching soccer for 7 years. He started out in England and gained his FA Level 1 certification while working for Pro Class Coaching in schools and for teams in his hometown of Doncaster, he worked for the first time in the United States in 2008 on the East coast for Challenger Sports coaching in Providence RI, Maine, Vermont, Boston and New York. He returned to the UK and coached for LA Active; plan and running Physical Education sessions and furthering his soccer coaching education by gaining his FA Level 2 qualification.
Alex has experience with working with players from aged 3 to 18 and from beginner to advanced abilities.
Alex currently coaches within the De Anza Force Soccer Club. He has been part of this club since 2011 and has worked with the u8, u9 and u10 programs.
Alex currently coaches the De Anza Force 03 girls Blue and Black teams as well as the 02 girls White team.
Alex is NSCAA and CYSA licensed and also has a B.A Honors degree is Sports Science from the University of Hull, England.
